Gadsden State Cardinal Foundation
The Gadsden State Cardinal Foundation exists to support the students, mission, and programs of Gadsden State Community College. Since 2012, it has remained focused on expanding opportunity and helping students achieve their goals through the power of philanthropy.
The Challenge:
Increase board engagement and utilize board connections to grow the donor network.
Result:
Secured an endowed scholarship, with two additional scholarships in progress, while strengthening board confidence and expanding donor engagement strategies.
American Ancestors
American Ancestors is a national nonprofit dedicated to family history, heritage, and culture since 1845. Today, it serves over 400,000 members with one of the world’s largest online collections of family history resources, educational programs, and events.
The Challenge:
Fundraising had stalled and donor connections were limited.
Result:
Record-breaking fundraising totals, including multiple seven-figure gifts, and the largest individual gift in the organization’s history.
Hugh Shelton Center for Leadership
The Hugh Shelton Center for Leadership was founded by General Hugh Shelton, to pay forward to his alma mater, NC State University. HSCL offers scholarships, camps, developmental training sessions, and other educational programs.
The Challenge:
Train and improve board productivity.
Result:
Three major gifts ranging from $500K-$1M in the first year.
Meredith College
Meredith College is a liberal arts college and coeducational graduate school located in Raleigh, NC, committed to enhancing their students’ strengths, broadening their perspectives, and preparing them for lives of impact and distinction.
The Challenge:
Training and accountability for major gift officers.
Result:
$90M raised which was $15M over goal.
Wake Tech Community College
Wake Tech is North Carolina’s largest community college, serving more than 70,000 adults annually, with six campuses, three training centers, multiple community sites, and a comprehensive array of online learning options.
The Challenge:
Strengthen executive leadership and enhance organizational development.
Result:
Fully functional, more cohesive and efficient team.Vance-Granville Community College
Established in 1969, VGCC offers more than 40 curriculum programs, in which students work toward certificates, diplomas, and degrees. Area residents and businesses can take advantage of a variety of continuing education opportunities, as well as the high school equivalency and adult high school diploma programs.

Forsyth Tech Community College
Forsyth Tech has served the citizens of Forsyth and Stokes counties since 1960. The school began as the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Industrial Education Center, offering vocational instruction and training in skilled trades.

Gulf Coast State College
Located next to the water in Panama City, Florida, Gulf Coast State College provides a first-class education with an emphasis on on quality and practicality. The college offers flexibility with traditional classes, online courses, continuing education, and professional training courses. GCSC is also recognized as one of the top military-friendly colleges in the country.
The Challenge:
GCSC had a new foundation president that needed executive leadership coaching/training.
Result:
Renee Keever identified 13 new local donors and provided a detailed profile for each.
