Hardy may be our numbers guy, but he appreciates the creativity and energy of a small business. “Most of the start-ups I’ve worked with are more concerned about how quickly they can build and then sell the company. This team is more concerned about truly making an impact in people’s lives.” His focus at BrightDot is to manage cash flow, making sure revenues grow, but at the same time, minimizing cash outlay.
A native of Raleigh and an NC State alumnus, Hardy began his career in mortgage banking and has worked in real estate development and managed various start-up companies for over 40 years. He’s married to his childhood sweetheart, Patsy, and they have two children and four grandchildren. In his spare time, Hardy runs his own custom woodworking business.
