Prior to joining BrightDot, Sean served as President and CEO in both nonprofit and international educational institutions, including the National Corvette Museum, where he led a period of transformation marked by interactive exhibits, expanded donor support, and a #1 national ranking by USA Today.

For over a decade, Sean served as an independent school president across the U.S. and abroad, including in China, North Carolina, and Louisiana. Alongside his leadership roles, Sean has consulted on strategic planning and education initiatives in Hong Kong, Morocco, the UAE, and beyond.

Sean brings a unique blend of nonprofit insight and academic expertise to his work. He has taught graduate and doctoral courses in educational leadership, fundraising, and strategic planning at universities such as Purdue, UNC, Belmont, and Western Kentucky.

A lifelong educator and strategist, Sean holds a PhD in educational leadership from the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Jillian, live in Florida with their two children.
