Bill Crouch
Founder & CEO
“I wake up everyday thinking of how I can make a difference in the life of another person.”
Bill believes in the power of ripple effects. “For every single person’s life we impact through our work, we will directly affect an exponential number of others.” This principle is at the heart of BrightDot’s mission and Bill’s approach to life. His purpose-driven leadership style is reflective of his background in ministry, and he possesses the rare combination of creativity, authenticity, and practical knowledge to help organizations raise more money to serve more people. He approaches everything he does with a palpable energy, and finds great joy in inspiring his team and clients.
Bill honed his fundraising skills as a development director at various colleges in the Southeast, and then over 22 years as President of Georgetown College. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is an Honorary Fellow at Regents Park College at Oxford University. Most recently, he served as the senior managing partner of Jerold Panas, Linzy and Partners. A Trustee Emeritus for the First Tee of the PGA Tour, Bill serves on the World Golf Foundation’s Diversity Council. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Meredith College. If he has a free afternoon, you’ll find him on the golf course, but Bill is happiest when in the company of his wife Jan, five children, and nine grandchildren.
